Christmas Opening Times 2013

MacNean Restaurant will close on the 23rd December 2013 and will re-open again on the 28th December 2013. 

It will also close on the 1st January 2014 and re-open again on the 16th January 2014.

Directions to MacNean House

MacNean Restaurant is located to the North of Co Cavan. It is 20 minutes from Enniskillen Co Fermanagh, and 45 minutes from both Cavan and Sligo town.

From Dublin take the N3 for Cavan, then taking Cavan bypass continue towards Enniskillen.
After leaving the village of Derrylin Co.Fermanagh, travel for 5 miles, where you shall take the second of the two signposts for Florencecourt (as you turn into this road there shall be a green bus shelter on the left). Continue straight down this road for 12 miles (go through one set of cross roads) to the village of Blacklion.

Cancellation Policy

MacNean House cancellations must be made 5 days before arrival, cancellations after this time will result in 50 euro per person being charged to the credit card given at the time of reservation. All no shows will result in the full cost of the booking being charged to the credit card given at the time reservation.

Marble Arch Caves
The Marble Arch Caves are located at Florencecourt Co. Fermanagh and are a fascinating, natural underworld of rivers, waterfalls, winding passages and lofty chambers. Daily tours are available which last for a duration of 75 minutes. For further information contact 028 6634 8855.

Glencarr Waterfall
Glencarr Waterfall is located in Leitrim; this enchanting waterfall has a drop of 50 feet and is particularly impressive after rainfall. A member of staff at MacNean House will confirm directions from MacNean House to Glencarr Waterfall, should you fancy visiting this beautiful location.

 

The Cavan Way
For those of you that like walking, The Cavan Way is waiting to be explored, it is a 26 km gentle walking route that starts out from the village of Dowra northwards by quiet roads to reach the magical Shannon Pot!  The route then ascends from the Shannon source into the limestone karst landscape of the northern Cuilcaghs before descending to the village of Blacklion.
